BCA Council has identified several areas of our Constitution that need to be amended as part of our ongoing efforts to streamline our procedures. The proposed amendments were passed unanimously at the Annual General Meeting in March 2010 and we now progress to the final stage of ratification: a full postal ballot of members. Sometime around the beginning of July all BCA members will be receiving a Ballot Paper and accompanying notes along with a paper copy of Newsletter 13. An electronic copy of the newsletter and the notes are available below.
Newsletter 13 (July 2010) plus Constitutional Amendments Notes
In order for each group of amendments to be passed, we require at least 70% of the votes cast by both Individual Members and Group Members to be in favour. We urge members to study the document carefully and return the Ballot Paper to the Hon. Secretary by 7th August 2010. If any member has any queries before voting, or would like to better understand the reasons behind a proposed change, then please contact me.
