Joint BCA/BCRC Party Weekend - 2015

After the success of last year's event in the Yorkshire Dales, BCA is this year combining with BCRC to host the 2015 Party/AGM weekend alongside the BCRC's Conference.

Taking place over the weekend of 12-14 June, the event will be based primarily at the excellent Dean Field Studies Centre, in the heart of the Forest of Dean.

Accommodation: a choice of the centre's own bunk rooms, or on-site camping.

Activities: Friday Evening: arrival and late-night bar. Saturday Day: Choice of BCRC Rescue Conference events or access arranged to all the main caves and mines in the region, including trips on Saturday and Sunday to Otter Hole, plus guides for a number of other trips, or keys and advice for self-led trips of your choice. All-day bar on-site. Saturday Evening: Meal, band and bar in nearby Clearwell Caves, followed by late-night bar back at Dean Field Studies Centre. Sunday: Choice of BCRC Rescue Conference events, more caving trips or the BCA Annual General Meeting.

Cost & Bookings: Advanced Bookings (by 10 May) will be available at an all-in rate of £24 (including Fri & Sat camping, coach to, evening meal and band at, and coach back from Clearwell Caves), plus all on-site events. Accommodation can be upgraded to indoor bunkhouse for a further £11. A range of other permutations are also available, such as on-site camping (with use of bar, showers etc) but missing the Clearwell Caves event.

Any profit will go to the British Cave Rescue Council.

Food: Breakfast and lunch will be available (pre-booked) at the nearby cafe, the evening meal on Saturday will be at Clearwell Caves.
