Hidden Earth, the long-awaited caving extravaganza, is finally making its grand return on September 15-17th, 2023.
After the dreaded pandemic tried to keep us in the dark (which we’re often not opposed to), BCRA’s annual caving conference is back and will be held at the Gordano Sports Centre in Portishead, Bristol, BS20 7QR.
For all you cave enthusiasts out there, this is the perfect opportunity to come together with fellow cavers from across the UK and beyond. Let’s celebrate our shared passion for cave research and exploration right here in the UK.
Throughout the weekend, there will be a diverse range of activities to keep you engaged and entertained. From informative lectures, captivating films, practical workshops, to some friendly competitions where you can showcase your caving skills and knowledge by partaking in the Speleo olympics, ladder climbing, and photography. There’s something for every caver to enjoy.
And when the sun sets, get ready for some delightful evening entertainment that will add an extra spark to the event.
Last but not least, don’t forget to check out the trade hall, where you can find cave-related equipment and goodies. BCRA and BCA will both have a stands in there so make sure to swing by and say hello!
