Hidden Earth Art, Photo and Video salons
Information and entry forms for the 2011 BCRA Photo Salon, to be held at the Hidden Earth event, are now online at http://hidden-earth.org.uk/ as well as details of the Video Media and Art Salons. Online entry to the Photo Salon will be available later in the summer.

BCRA is pleased to announce that our competition rules (Photo Salon, Art Salon and Video Media Salon at the Hidden Earth conference) have been approved by the Artists Bill of Rights Campaign as being "fair" to entrants. See http://artists-bill-of-rights.org/ We are the first European caving organisation to gain this accreditation, and only the second caving competition in the world to do so (the NSS salons in 2009 being the only other one that we are aware of).

The online photo salon form is now available for use. If there are any bugs, please report them. The form is at http://hidden-earth.org.uk/competitions/online-entry/

If you complete this form in advance - even if it is only a day or two in
advance - it will save us some time at the check-in desk, and it will mean that we do not need to decipher your handwriting!

This year, we are requesting that you bring with you (or send in advance) low-resolution digital copies of your Print Entries, and a 'mug shot' of yourself, for us to use when the winners are announced at the Closing Ceremony. We will only use these images during the Closing Ceremony. Files should be 1280 x 1024 pixels, JPG format. They should be named with the reference numbers allocated on your online entry form when it is emailed to you.
