1) CREG journal 76 has now been shipped. A list of contents is at http://bcra.org.uk/creg/jnl/ We would like to get back on track by issuing journal 77 "before too long", so if anyone has any contributions to make, please contact Rob Gill a.s.a.p.

2) A reminder: new date for Cave Technology Symposium is 9-10 June. See the archives for this mailing list or http://bcra.org.uk/cregf/

3) Proposed DistoX1 board production for Disto A3

CREG member Kevin Dixon writes to say that he is thinking of producing some DistoX1 boards for the A3, which will be the same as produced by Beat Heeb. He needs to know how many people are interested before spending a large sum of money and lots of time on the project. Kevin writes ...

Quote:
Components have been found to make 100 boards. Final price will hopefully be GBP 160/board plus shipping but will depend on the cost of the obsolete parts, which have now been obtained. You will need to find your own Disto A3 to upgrade. This will be a big financial risk so I need to know interest from the cave surveying community. If you are interested or know anyone interested, please contact me, kdxn at yahoo dot com. (This is not a commitment to anything). The more interest there is, the more likely they are to get produced. I aim to ship boards in March/April.
